 Difficult assembly, beautiful table! September 9, 2010

This was a total pain to put together. I've been assembling furniture kits for many years but this one drove me nuts! The main problem was getting the tops of the legs to stay put in the too-small plastic things that connected them to the table top. I ended up taking it apart twice before I got them to stay in & level. Thank goodness for my rubber mallet. That helped a lot.
Once assembled, this is a gorgeous table but hard to keep the glass top clean outdoors. Would have been nicer in the textured glass you see on most outdoor glass-top tables.
I still really like the look and quality. It's a nice size as well.

The table completely met my expectations. It arrived promptly, was easy to assemble and there were no shipping charges. The price was great, hundreds below similar items in local outlets. It is attractive and functional and I am enjoying it.

We had to purchase a new patio table since our previous one had one of its legs snapped off after a bad wind storm. We wanted to find a table that wouldn't cost a fortune but that would look nice and be a sturdy, durable table. This product does not disappoint! First, however, the box it arrived in was in terrible condition so I was worried that the table inside had been damaged. No worries, though. It was fine. We had instructions and all of the parts necessary to put it together. It took my husband about 45 minutes to assemble and it's absolutely beautiful! It almost looks like the original table to the patio set. I liked the fact that it also came with the plastic ring that goes in the middle of the table to help steady the umbrella. It also comes with touch-up paint, which I find convenient. Hopefully we'll never need it. Very happy about this purchase and would highly recommend to others.

I love the table. It is exactly what I was looking for. However, it came without any kind of fastener, bolts, or screws to put the table together. It also came without directions or a parts list so it has been a major pain trying to figure out what kind of fastener will attach the ring to the table legs thus holding up the table top. Numerous attempts at fitting something properly into the opening including running through the extra bolt and metal screw drawer and trips to Home Depot and True Value Hardware have left me close but with no true fit. The table currently holds together, but obviously the bolts do not match the finish. This is the first time that I have been disappointed by an Amazon purchase.
