If your swing is exposed to a great deal of humidity precipitation and/or sun as in coastal or mountain regions we recommend you treat it with a sealant up to twice a year. If your swing will hang in drier conditions with less weather exposure we recommend treating it anywhere from once a year to once every two years.Hanging chains are 7 feet in length. Length from the top of the chain to the inverted V is 4.5 feet. This chain is a zinc-plated 10-gauge wire sometimes referred to as a double loop or twin loop chain.
