The seat is too low with a space gap between the bench seat and the back that should be filled with a cushion to look right, I guess. With no cushion it looks as though the seat was attached too low . I don't like the look. I didn't like the lacquered appearance rather than a nice rich stain. I wanted to return this item but, having put it together with bad instructions, I didn't want to dismantle it and lug it to the Post Office since it is very heavy.

We purchased this bench to be put out by our swingset. It arrived in good condition and was easily put together in twenty minutes or so. It is actually quite a bit sturdier than I expected it to be, albeit I don't think having three full-sized adults sit on it would be very wise. It is longer than a regular sized bench, but in my opinion, not necessarily a 3-person bench. I did seal it with Teak Oil to seal in the color-I did not want it greying out. Great price, easy-great product. 4 stars in my book.

Its hard to believe that this bench is so affordable because it looks fantastic and is very sturdy. Assembly was very easy and I had it done in about 45 minutes by myself. I now have it in my backyard and I think it is very nice addition to the landscaping.
I was concerned about the shipping because some reviewers had major gripes about the shipping and packaging being sub par. I however had none of those problems, the shipment arrived in tact, secure, and quickly.
My one little problem with this bench is that it is not terribly comfortable. It is great for maybe a 20-30 minute period of sitting (which is what I will mostly use it for), but I don't think I would find it appealing to sit on it for hours reading or having a romantic chat.
Overall, I would recommend this highly to anybody looking for a cost effective and lovely bench.

I put it together--by myself, DRUNK--in about 15 minutes... It was wrapped beautifully and ever so simply... It looks great, fits perfectly, and I'm going to love the hell out of it for years.

I purchased this product some time back. The product is not packaged properly and came in cracked in some areas.As returning the product is difficult and cumbersome with Amazon, I decided to retain the same. Instructions for assembly is not proper leading to more time in assembling the product than is required. I will use the product for some time and then update the review with other aspects. At least this product reached on time is the only positive I can see till now. A couple of other orders were not in stock and Amazon on a whole is slipping as per my feeling.
